Happy hump day folks. Been waiting for this one since the calendar turned to October. Ain't nothin' gets more more excited that a Sr. run to victory lane and subsequent interview. Unfortunately, this happened to be his 76th and final victory.But damn, this last one was one hell of a way to go out.
17th to 1st certainly put every Senior fan across the deep south on their feet 13 years ago yesterday. What a way to go out. One minute you're looking at marginal finish and complaining about the new rules package, and the next you realize you're Dale fuckin Senior and you'd much rather go pass your teammate, bitchass Truck regular Mike Skinner, and go bet a $1 million on yourself winning the title in Vegas.
Take notes Junior, poppy didn't care how bad Mike Skinner wanted to or needed to win. He made him his bitch with 2 to go just like he did the other 41 cars.
Also, DW always talks about how Senior could "see the air". Well I tell ya, I don't know if he could see the air or not (I assume yes), but he damn sure hated seeing cars in front of his.
