1-Bar of the Week: Camping World RV Sales 500

Well, looks like we have ourselves a  first two time winner of the 1-bar of the week, and damn she deserves this one. With 28 to go, DP was looking for her best career finish. Then, suddenly, she remembered she was a woman driver...



Danica darted across two lanes of traffic in the middle of the pack to get to pit road because her crew told her too. Isn't she aware that she doesn't HAVE to pit if she's stranded herself in the middle of the track. It's not the rule. But what is a rule is keeping it under 60 on the pit road at DEGA. The best part is, she blames her crew for her driving.

“I’m sorry I missed pit road but I about (expletive) crashed with two cars on the way in,” Patrick said.

OK, and that's your crew's fault because? Less than half of the guys in the pack came down that lap. How bout you stay out and ride around rather than about fuckin crashing two other cars.

Well, once she was off the track she forgot where the brake pedal AND asphalt were. Genius. Apparently, she also forgot it might be a good idea to at least pit it because she won't be able to during her mandatory trip the next lap. Three trips down pit road later, Danica found her self in a familiar place... 33rd, -1 lap.

So to summarize, she should have stayed out, should have slowed down, should have stayed on the asphalt, and should have pulled into her stall regardless of speed. At least she managed to avoid Junebug
